Indranil Chakraborty

Indranil Chakraborty is the Head of Consumer and Corporate Operations as well as the Chief of Staff function at Barclays Shared Services, India. He joined Barclays in 2008 and since then has driven the business from strength to strength, harnessing the collective power of people and technology.

With an experience of over 20 years, Indranil (or Indro as he is known amongst friends and colleagues) started his career with Citibank in the mid-nineties at the cusp of the technology boom. He is a passionate athlete and sports enthusiast, a movie buff, a thinker and a writer. Indro has a keen eye for detail and a knack for asking questions. Needless to say, he loves working with people and people love working with him.

Being a father to a daughter, Indro is an ardent advocate of the diversity agenda at home, as well as at work. During his career he has mentored many colleagues who now hold significant leadership positions in business.
