Gagan is an Independent Director on the boards of Timex Group and Future Retail Ltd. She heads the Audit Committees of both Companies and is an consultant to Anuj Puri’s Anarock Property Services Pvt. Ltd.
She considers herself to be a general management expert and have consistently achieved success in reviving businesses that are in trouble or need to scale up through better processes and rhythm. She manages to make dysfunctional teams work better together. Gagan retired from Jones Lang LaSalle India in March 2017 where she worked for 10 years as CEO. She joined JLL in May 2007, to oversee the integration of the merger of Jones Lang LaSalle with Meghraj which created India’s largest real estate services firm . She led the Projects and Development Services business for India from 2008 to 2012 which more than doubled its revenue under her leadership.
Gagan Singh has been involved with BD Foundation since it’s early days as Adviser and Mentor. Theatre, whether as actor or audience, has always been a passion for her since her school days and she has always been associated with amateur theatre in Mumbai, Nepal and Gurgaon since. She hosts play readings at her home in Gurgaon for the last decade and has acted in several USP productions as well. She has also directed dinner theatre murder mysteries in Nepal and Delhi.
She retired from Corporate life in early 2017 and is enjoying what she believes is a perfect mix of some work and lots of fun. She is busy traveling and ticking off items on her bucket list for the last year and also manages to spend time quality time with her daughters’ families and her grandchildren. On the work front she divides her time between Salaam Baalak Trust as Trustee, 2 publicly listed boards as Independent Director and as consultant for Ethics, CSR and Diversity to a start-up.
