Best D&I Practices for Persons with Disabilities

This award recognizes an organization who acts as a role model in championing inclusion for the Persons with Disabilities and initiating and leading action to remove barriers and improve the working experience and engagement levels of employees with disabilities or demonstrating excellence in the delivery of services to persons with disabilities.

Assessment Criteria:

  • Built an inclusive culture by challenging disability inequalities/barriers/bias in the application of people management policies and taken steps to eliminate or reduce incidents of bullying, harassment or discrimination against persons with disabilities
  • Leads positive actions or interventions to enable talented employees with disabilities to realise their full potential and applies evidence and customer insight to tackle issues effectively
  • Can demonstrate positive outcomes arising from their interventions for individuals and the organisation, and can demonstrate the potential for scaling up or demonstrating initiatives for other parts of the services
